About the ISME World Conference Presenter Award

Purpose of the Award

To enable music educators with demonstrated financial need to attend the ISME biennial World Conference by meeting registration costs and contributing towards travel, accommodation, and sustenance.

Eligibility

  • ISME members who have been accepted to give a spoken or poster presentation for the first time.
  • Not available to performing groups.
  • Past recipients are not eligible.

Criteria

  • Quality and significance of proposed research.
  • Applicant’s financial need.
  • Importance of conference attendance.

Award Value

Up to US $1500 for travel, accommodation, and sustenance.

All awards are available to ISME members only.

Conference Icon

Award normally distributed post-conference attendance, unless otherwise approved by the ISME Finance Committee.

Travel Icon

Eligible costs: travel, accommodation, sustenance. Membership and registration are not covered by these awards.

Application Requirements

  • One-page CV and a Personal statement of 300–400 words saved as a single pdf file.
  • Referee report (400 words).
